It would be enormously helpful if we could get an additional setting to the CIWS controllers that would be a check box / binary slider for "ignore shells/missiles that are moving away" Please make it an option (but default) rather than making it mandatory, so it is possible to have fleet defense CIWS that would protect other ships. Same with LAMS unless the same system is already in place.
Additionally, but of secondary importance since it is already partially possible, could we have a "preferred diameter" setting? Right now you can prefer big or small, but there's no way to prefer medium or large missiles and still fire at CRAMs. Large missiles are by far the biggest threat, but you can't target them preferentially unless you give up on either medium missiles or CRAMs. This option would be a slider, which can set a diameter between 250 and 2,000 that is the preference. From there, you could keep the current "Diameter priority multiplier" but change it so it adjusts the priority based on difference from this preferred diameter set with the new slider.
So for my CIWS that I want to prioritize large missiles but hit CRAMs and medium missiles, I'd set the new slider to 1,000mm, the other slider to 5x, and the targeting to ignore munitions heading away and target both missiles and CRAMs.
