For a long time I have been working on creating artillery systems in the game. I mainly use advanced cannons for this and I have run into some minor road blocks . My biggest problem is that shells disspawn too fast , also due to the long flight time of the shell the AI is pretty wonky . What I am getting at here is that it would be nice if there was a regulator block for aps shells and maybe a similar option for crams , this could make long range artillery a more viable and useful. Another addition that would be nice is part for aps shells that would allow the use of augmenting charges , augmenting charges could help mortars and artillery in general reduce their shells flight time making aiming at close ranges less wonky but still allowing them to be used at longer distances . The amount of augmenting charges on the shell could be adjusted by the AI to give the best out come . The augmenting charges part would function like a gun powder casing but be a part of the shell instead. (I will try to add some basic illustrations here because I'm not that good at explaining it ) .

basically there are mortar shells that are guided by an operator or target a laser point . This shells give mortars more accuracy on taking down specific targets . So a component controlled by the AI or a shell head that targets a laser point that has access to special fins on the shell to help it hit a target would be nice . But it needs to have restrictions such as the fins can only adjust the shells trajectory at low speeds
. but I think the above suggestions are more plusable than this fun idea .
