The graviton ram APS shell component is overpowered, simply put. Given the ability to capsize any given ship using a very small amount of an APS shell, costing only kinetic damage that usually plays no significant role in payload shell performance.
My proposed solution is not removing graviton rams, nor nerfing them (much) but rather making them a payload-based munition. So instead of slapping a ram on the rear of a shell, you would have to have "Graviton Bomb" payload components. Their effect would be proportional to number of components and shell gauge and have an AoE comparable to that of HE. The "extra torque" slider would be present in the payload components. The new gravitons should be viable as CIWS for disrupting missile paths, bothering aircraft, or capsizing ships of any size.
I do hope this idea will be taken into consideration and would like to hear developers opinions on the matter.
