The "MORE" and "LESS" options for determining block complexity in the builder are missing a few parts being unlocked in order to actually use several weapon systems. I'll list the ones I've spotted, as well as the places where the complexity level isn't broken, just odd.
"Day one" level
-Custom Shell (including grenade launcher) simple weapons are enabled, but the Advanced Cannon ammo controller parts are all locked to "end-game" level, meaning they can't fire. I would lean towards moving them to the "simple blocks" level of complexity.
-Sticky Foot is listed here, despite being very late game.
-Failsafes are disabled, meaning the only way to prevent a craft from shooting itself is with field-of-fire constraints, which is more complicated.
-Under "Targeting & misc cards" the Behaviours & additional Routines card is enabled, despite the mainframe having behaviour slots by default and there being preconfigured cards.
"Simple blocks" level
-Small steam turbines are enabled, despite steam generators, batteries, and energy weapons being disabled meaning they don't actually have a purpose at this level.
-Custom Shell simple weapons are enabled, and there is no way to make ammo for them, but unlike "Day one" level, I think it actually makes sense to enable Advanced Cannon ammo controllers rather than disable the weapons.
-Cram auto loaders are disabled, even the auto version, meaning you can't make a very useful Cram cannon until you set the complexity to "complex blocks"
-Advanced Cannons are totally locked out. I would argue that they're not that complex, and they're an important part of the game to understand. Especially with the new UI that gives a lot more details about what is limiting their fire rate, I think they're pretty simple compared to Cram tetris. With the exception of railgun parts and possibly ammo clips, I think it would make sense to unlock the "basics" of advanced cannons at this level. Or even limit the autoloaders to 1-2 meter shells? That would still allow for learning about the guns without being a bewildering array of options for tetris.
"Complex blocks" level
-Batteries and Electric engines are still disabled, despite being fairly simple to use.
-Advanced Cannons (other than pre-built) are still totally locked out, which is kind of silly at this point. I think expanding them to include everything except railgun parts should definitely happen at this level.
-Cram Cannon fuses are still disabled, despite being fairly simple once you are used to cram cannon construction
