The M-missile interceptor warhead is designed to take out a maximum of 3 missiles within a 35m radius of the interceptor. During testing, the interceptor warhead has shown to detonate missiles over 300m away from the interceptor itself. The bug was found to work at least with the L-missiles as target of the interceptors. No other countermeasures were used. Three M-interceptors detonated the first missile, followed a few ms later by the second missile, which was not touched by other interceptors, as they were still travelling towards it.
